The Eastern Africa Young Psychiatrists and Trainees Association (EAYPTA) is a regional network of early-career psychiatrists and psychiatry trainees dedicated to advancing mental healthcare across Eastern Africa.
EAYPTA promotes professional development through education, mentorship, research, leadership, collaboration and advocacy.
The association works closely with national psychiatric associations and partner organizations to strengthen the capacity of young mental health professionals, foster regional collaboration and improve mental health services and outcomes.
EAYPTA is currently active in four countries, bringing young mental health professionals together across the region.
